Welcome to the world of P.A.I.N., the Pittsburgh Apparition Investigation Network! We are a group of level-headed, like-minded ghost hunters from the Pittsburgh / Western Pennsylvania area searching for tangible proof of the paranormal. We approach every case with an open mind, but a hint of skepticism. We can't always tell you what it is, but we'll try our hardest to tell you what it isn't!
The basis of our approach is simple: physical/scientific evidence rules. While we are open to psychic impressions from gifted individuals, we do not have any on our team. Our angle is geared more towards physical evidence, but we have gifted friends that we know and trust to assist us if the need arises. The psychic realm is a place that ghost hunters must tread lightly as it is hard to find credible, reliable people to work with. The power of suggestion is an exeptionally strong force and must be dealt with as rationally and reasonably as possible.
WE DO NOT CLAIM TO BE ABLE TO RID YOUR LOCATION OF SPIRITS! We can offer advice on how to get them to move on, or we can connect you with someone whose religious beliefs provide a method of helping the spirit pass on. Be aware, these fail more times than they succeed! We can only offer you a chance to document your experiences as best we can. Remember, ghosts do not show up on command! There is always the possibility that we could do a full-scale investigation and come away with nothing. Believe us, it happens! This DOES NOT mean your location isn't haunted. This also DOES NOT undermine any experiences you have had. We approach every situation with an open mind, and we believe you are sincere.
WE NEVER CHARGE FOR OUR SERVICES. Please be wary of groups that charge you to investigate a location. We want to help advance the field of paranormal research. We are in this to help ordinary people deal with extraordinary situations, not to make money!
