Investigation Process

When investigating a new location, we'd like your help! Up to the point that you've contacted us, you've been our eyes and ears. Your information will be vital to the success of our investigation!

First, we'll discuss with you (either via phone/email) what you've been experiencing. During this time we'll attempt to gather basic information about your location. (geography, building history, tenant history, location/area history, etc...) While some of our questions may seem odd at first, please understand that there is a process behind it. We like to research as much as possible before going in. This helps us make the most of our time and promotes an efficient investigation. PLEASE do not think that we do not believe you or are trying to discredit your information! We believe that you are sincere, but it is our job to rule out as much natural phenomena as we can.

After reviewing the information, if you are comfortable with it we will come to your location for a "walkthrough". You walk us through your location, showing us any points of interest. Because we approach ghost hunting from more of a scientific perspective, this is an important step for us. We use this time to determine where to place audio recorders, video cameras, etc.. and where to spend the bulk of our investigation time. Depending on the location and circumstances, sometimes the walkthrough and the actual investigation may take place on the same day.

If we are not conducting the investigation immediately following the walkthrough, we will then schedule a date and time to return with our equipment and proceed with a thorough investigation. An average investigation is normally around 3-4 hours. Exceptions can always be made, either cutting them short or extending them longer. We've done 3 hour investigations as well as overnight stays. It all depends on the needs of the client.

Upon completing the investigation, we then review all of the material. State-of-the-art audio and video programs are used to analyze all potential evidence. All unexplainable evidence is compiled on a cd-rom. PLEASE UNDERSTAND - We are tough critics when it comes to evidence!

If needed, we can return for a final evidence review. During that time we will review any audio/video/picture evidence that we are unable to explain. We will give you as much information as possible! If you would like, we will give you a copy of the cd-rom containing everything that we are presenting.

While many groups are reluctant to share evidence, we are more than willing to help advance the field!
